I
I love this little guy. He is so cute.

Well it has been a crazy couple of months. Finally got a job and just trying to settle in. I have a workshop coming up after labor day so hopefully I can get some interest in a club. I have been enjoying all of the new paper colors and new sets. Tomorrow I have a fun play day scheduled with a friend. Hopefully can get some new samples made up.

I am on vacation

I will be back the end of this week. Should have cards to post on Friday August 6th. I am currently visiting the grandkids in South Dakota. Can't wait to get back to my studio. Also have a big event on Saturday. It is called Summer Sizzle. I will be trying to sell some of my cards and also get people interested in Stampin' Up! Hopefully will get some interest in workshops and clubs. Happy Stamping everyone and I will be back to blogging soon.

A trio of cards from Inspired By Nature

I am so excited with this set. Look at the variety. Used Wild Wasabi, Old Olive, Marina Mist and So Saffron on the first card. Second card is Soft Suede and Early Expresso. The third card was done with Cajun Craze, So Saffron and Old Olive. Enjoy your day and happy stamping.

Need to get lots of cards made

I am in the process of making cards to take to an event called The Summer Sizzle. I want to have at least 200 cards made to take along. I am also going to take the current Stampin' Up! catalogs and I am trying to do a brochure to get some interest in workshops, classes or clubs. I have just been signed up as a demonstrator for a month now so any suggestions would be more than welcomed. I am finally getting all of my new Stampin' Up! papers organized and put in files. I absolutely love all of the new paper and ink colors. Can't wait to have more time to do some creating.

PUNCHED POSIES CARD

Really enjoying my new Stampin' Up! papers and inks. This hostess set is so cool.

My altered book

I am in the process of making an altered book. I am using alot of different techniques, including cut out niches, folded pages, painted pages, walnut ink, fibers, and decoupage. This is my first attempt at an altered book. What do you think?

These were the good old days.

A lot of you are probably too young to remember this. I was born in 1951 which means I just turned 59. Yikes how did that happen. Anyways this was my first sewing machine and it has a very reserved spot in my stamping studio. It is fun to just see it sitting on the shelf. I will never part with it. I think it may still work, wouldn't that be fun to use to sew on a few cards. I am so frustrated this evening. I purchased a couple of watermarks to use on the samples of my cards, also purchased Photo Shop Elements to be able to apply the layer and do you think I can figure it out????? NOT. Guess I will have to research it more. I did receive my order from Stampin' Up! and have been playing with all the papers and inks since it arrived on Monday. I can hardly stand it they are all so beautiful. I have a couple guests coming to see my studio this weekend so that should be fun. Hopefully we will do some rubber stamping too. Pictures of the creations to follow. Any one with any advice on applying watermarks feel free to offer your help. I need it. More later. Happy Creating. Lin
